I wholeheartedly agree with everything you have said in your blog. I simply could not get my ex husband to understand the pain and agony I was in. He would call me lazy when all I could do was lay around due to the fatigue. I believe I have had fibromyalgia most of my life but was diagnosed in 2004. I remember one of my younger sisters would like to poke me all of the time when we were younger and when I told her to stop that it hurt she thought I was using that as an excuse to get to to quit. She would say was I was being a baby when all reality it hurt like the devil.
Thanks for letting the world know we are not lazy and we hurt like you would not believe.

Interesting to understand the difference between pain and suffering. I wish those that didn't have Fibromyalgia would at least have some understanding what we feel because, as you wrote, it would help ease the suffering. I absolutely know that I would deal much better with the pain.
